ZacharoniNCheez A great winter album by Druid. Definitely comes with the cold winter vibes. The story within the lyrics on the tracks is such an amazing touch, too. Can’t wait for more of the tale! ⚔️🎹⚔️ Favorite track: Snowswept Cottage.

1.
A strange frost took the City of Druids by surprise, a sight never before seen in this part of the country. Snow piled on in sheets as the small group headed towards the cottage on the edge of the city limits. She held onto the satchel that contained the twin books, perhaps she would get answers in the near future on what they meant. She could not read the words within, they were written in an old language most people seemed to have long forgotten.
2.
Finally Home 01:30
Upon reaching the small cottage, one of the three travelers had produced a brass key, he owned the cottage it appeared. He let the two women into his home, letting them in from the cold winds. She and the other woman both thanked him and looked around the main room. The other woman had something with her, a bundle of cloth wrapped carefully around something, something small, a small baby.
3.
The man quickly started up a fire in the fireplace across from his front door, the two women came closer to warm themselves and the small baby. He was wrapped up in a crimson blanket, wrapped inside of a heavy brown cloth, sleeping peacefully. How could such a young baby could sleep so peacefully in a cold wind on a night like this? As it turned out, the man was a druid and the husband to the woman and the father of the baby.
4.
Yule 03:34
Days later, the snow had eased up, allowing the woman to leave the cottage and head back to the City of Druids. The surrounding roads were icy and cars weren't heading in or out of the town. There was a celebration going on amongst the druids, they were placing wreaths of green and red all around the town to hopefully drive the snow back to the north. This was, of course, the idea of Flax the rabbit-headed druid. The other druids knew it was the Christmas season and allowed him to go about, placing wreathes to his heart's content.
5.
At the cottage, at the edge of town, Flax was bringing a wreath to his druid companion and wife. That cottage was the last in the entire City of Druids to get one. He quickly made through the snowy field to the snow-swept cottage, standing alone in the blanket of pure white. When he arrived, he knocked on the door, calling out to his friend inside. He was invited in and offered a warm cup of tea and a seat. Flax obliged and sat with his beverage, a dark brown vanilla tea. He saw the small baby, wrapped warmly, and called him "rabbit", something he often called the children in the town. The small babe looked at home in the crimson swaddle.
6.
The moon was high in the freezing sky, she had to know what these books were for. The words within seemed like forbidden knowledge she was never allowed to know, baffling her with these strange words that seem so familiar as well. She made her way to the Temple of Ivy, the gathering place of the druids. Someone there must know something about these strange books, one bound in brass and orange wood and the other bound in silver with blue leather. Something mystical would await her.
7.
The temple offered her knowledge, telling her of these mystic books. They were thought to be owned by the Sorcerer of Seasons, a being only thought to be a myth. Not one soul could read the books and the only one who knew of them was Hemlock the druid. He had lived long enough to have heard the stories about the sorcerer and his four tomes, each seeming to appear at this strange time of unforeseen frost and snow. The woman was perplexed, how was it that she was coming upon such legendary books on a simple visit to the southern regions of the country? Nothing was particularly special about her or her life thus far, but it seemed that her fate was beginning to change.

about

As the land was taken hold by snow and ice, another book was found.
She found it standing out of a snowbank, as if someone placed it there to be found.
It was similar to the previous book yet it was lined with sliver and blue leather. It was titled "Winter & Solitude".
